Themes
The Laboratory emphasizes thematic areas such as digital cities, livable cities, accessible cities and greener cities. Within the scope of digital cities, the focus is on digital transformation, digital economy and implementation of sensing technologies enabling alternative products and services (e.g. CASE), among others.
Livable cities emphasize coexistence, social capital, care and quality of life across all types of users. Accessible cities prioritize proximity, connectivity and sustainable mobility, while greener cities focus on electric mobility, H2 and decentralized renewable energy.
Scope
The Laboratory offers research, local strategies, development of pilot projects and knowledge transfer through short courses, seminars, workshops and training. In addition, the Laboratory provides advice and monitoring on large projects.
The target audience includes cities, governments, local authorities, PT Authorities (PTAs), PT Operators, public and private urban development consortia, electric mobility providers, digital smart city solution providers, sustainable energy providers and TELCOs .
